Encapsulation is a preservation method used by libraries, museums, and archives for storing and protecting frequently handled paper items, such as posters, maps, and architectural plans. The A.C. Hunter Public Library is pleased to partner with the Museum Association of Newfoundland and Labrador to host this hands-on mini-workshop where participants will learn how to encapsulate an item of their choosing. This is an adults-only program; sharp knives will be involved and materials will be supplied. Wednesday, May 16 at 6:30 pm. A.C. Hunter Public Library 1st floor Community Room. Registration is limited.
